MAP at Home

In September 2020, MAP Network Plus received a GCRF / Newton Fund Agile COVID-19 Rapid Response Award to develop MAP at Home.

 

MAP at Home is an 18 month sub-project of MAP Network Plus which focuses on mental health support and community engagement in Rwanda during the COVID-19 pandemic.

MAP at Home examines the potential for providing mental health support and community engagement in Rwanda through interactive online platforms and participatory arts workshops between young people, educators, cultural artists and psychosocial workers.

MAP at Home will work with partners across all five provinces of Rwanda to provide psychosocial support and arts-based learning at home through interactive online platforms and workshops.

 

 

MAP at Home will partner with Uyisenga Ni Imanzi, the Institute of Research and Dialogue for Peace (IRDP), the Rwanda Arts Council and Rwanda’s Mental Health Division.
